2016 - HOW I CAME UP WITH THE NAME SEA OF SEVEN
It was 2016, and I was working at a resort in Carlsbad, California, trying to come up with a name for a brand. I knew finding a one-word name would be tough—most of them were already taken—but I did know I wanted something ocean-related. Thinking back to one of my favorite rap groups, the Beastie Boys, I remembered how often they mentioned the ocean in their songs.
So I jumped on the computer at work (which didn’t even have speakers) and searched on Google for “Beastie Boys songs with lyrics.” Within minutes, I came across Rhymin’ and Stealin’, and about 28 seconds in, the line “Terrorizing suckers on the seven seas” flashed across the screen.
I immediately went to GoDaddy.com and typed in sevenseas.com—it was taken. Then I tried seaofseven.com, saw it was available for $12, and bought it on the spot.

2017 - THINGS TAKE A TURN FOR THE BETTER (I hope)
We make our first shirt in Oceanside in order to trademark the name Sea Of Seven we have to first show a sell.
2018 - Website goes live
November 7th, 2018 is the day we launched our website and was officially are first day of business.
2019 - We SET UP OUR FIRST POP UP BOOTH
From our backyard to the north in Oceanside and just to the south in Del Mar California we are now selling in person. Our first time selling in person which was a Born-Free flat track motorcycle race.
2020 - MEET BRODY MCLAUGHLIN
It was at Glen Helen Raceway during a Hell On Wheels motocross race where I first notice Brody McLaughline flying around the track on his 1979 250 Yamaha. I introduce myself and ask if he's sponsored by anyone.
2022 - Ethan White Shows Interest
Ethan White just fit the mold perfectly. A blond hair surfer who loves two wheels. His charismatic personality was a great fit.
