Jack McCoy Passes Away - Film Legend for Billabong & Surfing

There's camera man then there's real cameraman. Jack McCoy was one of the greatest filmmaker of his time. I first found Jack's movies in my early teen years with In the Wind, Bunyip Dreaming, Sik Joy, The Green Iguana, Billabong Challenge, The Sons Of Fun and last Blue Horizon. I put Jack at the top with other legend cameraman Bali Strickland, Larry Haynes and Sonny Miller. These man got there feet wet spending hours and hours in the surf battling the elements - this alone instantly separates the man from the boys.

Jack has worked with surfing greats Luke Egan, Munga Barry, Chris Brown, Peter King, Donavon Frankenreiter, Andy Irons, Mark Occhilupo, Kelly Slater, Taj Burrow, Joel Parkinson, Rob Machado, Sunny Garcia, Ross Williams, Shane Dorian, Dave Rastovich and so many more.
