Surfing's Great Kelly Slater Falls Off The Tour

11-time surfing great Kelly Slater from Cocoa Beach Florida has just been knocked off the world surfing tour by 23-year old Liam O'Brien (an engineering student from the Gold Coast of Australia). Kelly has been on the WCT tour for over 33 years beginning with sponsors Quiksilver and Channel Island surfboards and now his brand Outerknown. Kelly will continue with a wildcard entry at Snapper Rocks at Rainbow bay finishing the comp with his final interview speech "I want to get really barreled... I just want to go surfing".
