This next Saturday on November 21st starting at 9am (ending at 2pm) will be the annual Board Swap located at 1144 North Coast Highway off the 101 in Encinitas (next to the post office). This will be a free event for the whole family and what exactly is a Board Swap you might ask? Picture a big parking lot with a lot of surfboards laying on the ground, big, fat, tall, skinny, narrow, old, used, new, damaged and hopefully none stolen. You'll need to bring cash, venmo or your good looks and make a deal on any surfboard that you may want to bring home. So let's call it a swap meet for the surf enthusiast.

Other events coming up will be Small Biz Saturday on November 28th which in short means SHOP LOCAL please. This is a day to shop the mom and pop stores that are owned by the locals in your community (and not the big box stores). So for us this will mean shopping in Oceansie, Vista, Carlsbad, Leucadia, Encinitas, Cardiff By The Sea, Del Mar, Solana Beach and Rancho Santa Fe - these are the areas that we consider our home and neighbors that we want and need to support.

On December 12th Makers Market we'll be back in the parking lot of Seaweed & Gravel where their will be vendors selling their goods just in time for Christmas.
